Event Passport of the Region is a new product of the Russian Convention Bureau. The project is aimed at attracting international events in key industries to Russian regions based on each regions distinctive features. As an example, the first Event Passport of the Region that of Kamchatka was presented at EEF 2019.

The Exhibition Scientific Research Center (VNITS) R&C, in cooperation with the Russian Convention Bureau, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs and the Union of Exhibition Developers with the support of the Roscongress Fund, has conducted a marketing study into the impact of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus on development of the Russian event industry.

This is the first publication of the R&C Market Research Company within the R&C Library project. The publication explores the meetings industry, gives a classification of market players, and describes the main stages of the event organizing process.
