The article based on the discussion materials conducted by the Russian Bar Association in conjunction with the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation at the SPIEF 2019 analyzes the main problems faced by entrepreneurs doing business in Russia. An assessment is made of the quality of Russian jurisdiction in terms of the comfort of the investment climate, ensuring the protection of the rights of both Russian and foreign investors.

This analytical report is based on a study carried out by Zircon Research Group. The aim of the study was to discover values and motivations of today’s Russian social entrepreneurs, as well as distinguishing features of social businesses, and to compare some of the personal qualities of social entrepreneurs with those of the general public.
