Venkatesh Varma Datla Bala: Russian-Indian cooperation at the Eastern Economic Forum 2019

: The analytical review of InfraONE entitled Investments into the Infrastructure 2018 prepared by the Russian Investment Forum (Sochi 2018) analyses the current state of the market, its key trends and presents the development forecast for 2018-2019.

More and more, Russia and China are declaring joint interests in politics, the economy, technological development... Is the relationship more of a partnership or a competition? Why is it so hard for us to negotiate with the Chinese? To find the answers to these questions, we talked to Dr Sergey Luzyanin, Professor, Director of the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and author of the book Russia and China: Creating a New World.

This report, prepared by the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), provides an analysis of the development and current status of BRICS’ e-commerce. The report also explores e-commerce regulations and MSMEs’ participation in e-commerce and suggests the potential of e-commerce cooperation among the BRICS countries.

The fifth issue of the annual report, prepared jointly by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of International Studies of the Fudan University, offers the shared vision of Russian and Chinese experts in international affairs for continued collaboration between Russia and China in 2018 and the first quarter of 2019.
