








The report titled Proposals for Russias Migration Strategy through 2035 has been prepared by the order from the Centre for Strategic Research. The period that followed the disintegration of the Soviet Union proved to be challenging
for Russia from the perspective of politics, socioeconomics, demographics and migration. The unfavourable demographic trends and the declining and ageing of the population
were partially offset by an influx of temporary and permanent migrants from
other post-Soviet states. But numerous errors in the migration policy led to a decrease in Russias migration attractiveness, turning migration into a source of social tension and an instrument of political infighting.

Food security is one of the main components of sustainable development. It must be ensured by introducing the principles of Industry 4.0, regulating the activities of private subsidiary farms, and the overall trend towards healthy nutrition, Cherkizovo Group CEO Sergey Mikhailov says.

The Centre for Strategic Research publishes the report Development Trends and Key Challenges in Russian Agricultural Industry prepared in partnership with the Centre for Agrifood Policy at Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The purpose of the report is to demonstrate that the agricultural sector is developing rapidly but this development can be affected by underestimated new challenges.
