
How the national Made in Russia brand is influencing state economic development

Expert RA has published a report National Projects: Expectations, Results, Outlook. The report covers such factors as scope of national projects during the crisis caused by the pandemic, and national projects contribution into compensating the economic recession.

Very recently, demand for Russian products abroad sounded like the set up for a joke on a national comedy show. But now it is a reality that is becoming more and more common. In 2018, Russias non-commodity exports reached a record-breaking USD 150 billion, compared to USD 134 billion the previous year. SPIEF Magazine has decided to present several examples of the kinds of products that Russian companies are selling on international markets and what lock picks they used to find their place in the sun.

This analytical report was prepared by the Center for Strategic Research, the Higher School of Economics, external experts, and the business community and deals with the regulatory policy of Russia, that is with the way the State forms and changes the rules according to which businesses, social organizations, and the public sector operate.
